Wednesday October 31, 2018 – Children seek education in large numbers
It was incredible as we visited several rural schools. Villagers are not waiting for the government to build schools. They are coming together and building their own regardless of how complete or how it looks. Government is providing the teachers.
Today we visited the Majenka Primary school with 678 students and only 6 toilets.
It has taken more than 7 years for the parents to bring this science lab to this stage with some help from ABW donors their dream of having a science lab can become a reality
Back at the hospital another successful surgery in the ABW funded operating room
Rama our project manager and I continued gathering data to enable us for some intelligent conversations around the needs the Mombo Health centre is facing. Rama is talking to the lab tech as to his needs.
