Wednesday, September 28, 2016 – When parents take an active role, the community moves forward

I decided to do a visit of the Male (pronounced mall-ey) Primary School near Naromoru and meet with the Male community and see the progress before I get back here with the group in 12 days. It is a 7-hour return road trip. We had a 4-hour visit so it was a long day.

It was nice to see that the parents are growing food and every child (300 students) are getting porridge. Parents are preparing and serving the meals.
